Εκεί έξω, στα πιο πιθανά και απίθανα σημεία της πόλης, υπάρχουν μερικές –χιλιάδες- γυναίκες που αναρωτιούνται πού στο καλό πήγανε οι άντρες που φλερτάρουν.
Κάποιες από αυτές, έχουν εναποθέσει όλες τις ελπίδες τους στην τύχη, την μοίρα και τον Πάμπλο Κοέλιο και έτσι κάθε φορά που τις παίρνει από κάτω κοιτάζουν με πυγμή τον καθρέφτη και καθησυχάζουν τον εαυτό τους ότι «όταν θέλεις κάτι πολύ, το σύμπαν συνομωτεί ώστε να το αποκτήσεις».
Και περιμένουν. Περιμένουν. Περιμένουν στο δρόμο που χάραξε η Πηνελόπη –αγνοώντας ότι η Πηνελόπη περίμενε μεν, περιτριγυρισμένη από μνηστήρες δε.
Κάποιες άλλες πάλι, μεταξύ των και εγώ, αφού είδαν και απόειδαν (και διάβασαν και άλλους λιγότερο φέιμους συγγραφείς) και έβγαλαν το συμπέρασμα ότι το σύμπαν δεν το έχει με τις συνομωσίες, αποφάσισαν να αναλάβουν δράση.
Να σταματήσουν την γκρίνια και να «πάρουν αυτό που θέλουν». Το φλερτ, δηλαδή.
Τα παραπάνω σκεφτόμουν εκείνη την ημέρα. Την ημέρα που έκανα για πρώτη φορά το πρώτο βήμα και είπα σε έναν άντρα ότι μου αρέσει και ότι θέλω να τον γνωρίσω καλύτερα. Ζήτησα ραντεβού, κοινώς.
Η εικόνα
Ήμασταν για μπάνιο. Ήταν φίλος φίλου. Τον έβλεπα πρώτη φορά. Συστηθήκαμε. Και πέσαμε στη θάλασσα. Η φάση μας ήταν με κοιτάς, σε κοιτώ και μετά μουγγαμάρα σιωπή. Το γεγονός ωστόσο ότι ήμασταν στην ίδια παρέα, έκανε τα πράγματα κάπως πιο εύκολα. Εντάξει κακά τα ψέματα, είναι πιο δύσκολο να γνωρίσεις έναν άγνωστο –ειδικά αν δεν έχεις ιδέα από manual. Εντός παρέας –καλή ώρα- όλο και κάποια πάσα θα πάρεις και θα μιλήσετε.
Στη δική μου περίπτωση, η πάσα έγινε με ένα σταυρόλεξο. Αμέσως μόλις τον είδα να το βγάζει από την τσάντα του σκέφτηκα «Εδώ είμαστε». Και χαμογέλασα. Τον πλησίασα και του ζήτησα να μου δώσει να λύσω και εγώ ένα γιατί είχα ξεχάσει το δικό μου (όντως).
Μου χαμογέλασε και μου το έδωσε. Δεν ξέρω αν έκανα λάθος, πάντως αυτό το χαμόγελο το εξέλαβα ως «Μήνυμα ελήφθη».
Ήμουν χαρούμενη. Όχι επειδή γνώρισα κάποιον που ξέρει να λύνει σταυρόλεξα (ναι, το παραδέχομαι πριν ξεκινήσω το ξεφύλλισα για να δω πόσα κενά αφήνει –ούτε ένα, btw) αλλά επειδή ένιωσα δυνατή. Ένιωσα ότι το’χω. Και θα το προχωρήσω. Όπως και έκανα.Μετά το μπάνιο, πήγαμε για φαγητό. Έκατσε δίπλα μου. Και αρχίσαμε να μιλάμε. Όσο πιο πολύ γελάμε, τόσο πιο πολύ θέλω να του ζητήσω να βγούμε.
Διακόπτουμε το πρόγραμμά μας για μία έκτακτη είδηση
Στο μυαλό μου ξέσπασε πόλεμος. Κανονικός. Με τα πυρομαχικά του, τις πανοπλίες του. Τον εγωισμό που τσίριζε με μανία «Δεν σου ζήτησε καν τηλέφωνο και εσύ θα του προτείνεις και να βγείτε;» σιγόνταραν τα στερεότυπα τα οποία μάλιστα, είχαν γίνει πυρ και μανία μαζί μου που σκέφτηκα να ζητήσω εγώ πρώτη από έναν άντρα να βγούμε. «Αίσχος-φρίκη-τρομερό» ούρλιαζαν από θυμό όλοι μαζί. Την ίδια ώρα, το ένστικτό μου χαζολογούσε αμέριμνο. Ήξερε το άτιμο ότι θα νικήσει. Να μου πεις, ένστικτο και να μην το ήξερε;
Και επιστρέφουμε στην κανονική ροή του προγράμματός μας
Έχουμε πιει, έχουμε μιλήσει, έχουμε γελάσει και έχει έρθει η ώρα να πάει ο καθένας στο σπίτι του. Ενώ αποχαιρετιόμαστε, όλοι με όλους –φιλιούνται αγκαλιάζονται- στο μυαλό μου λαμβάνει χώρα το Βατερλώ του καθωσπρεπισμού και των τύπων και πες το όπως θέλεις δεν με νοιάζει, εγώ εκείνον τον άντρα ήθελα να τον ξαναδώ. Του ζήτησα να βγούμε. Και κατάλαβα τι πάει να πει σε έπιασα στον ύπνο. Με κοίταξε κάπως περίεργα. Μου είπε ναι. Ανταλλάξαμε κινητά, και απομακρύνθηκε.
Fyi: Όταν έλυνε σταυρόλεξα είχε λιγότερο προβληματισμένο βλέμμα.
Δεν ξέρω εάν έφταιγε το γεγονός ότι δεν περίμενε να του το πω ή εάν δεν με ήθελε τόσο ή εάν είναι της άποψης ότι οι γυναίκες δεν προτείνουν ραντεβού, μόνο απορρίπτουν ή δέχονται. Εγώ για να είμαι ειλικρινής, το καταχάρηκα.
Είχα κάνει κάτι διαφορετικό. Και αυτό ήταν που είχε σημασία.
Και να σου πω και κάτι; Όταν βγήκαμε, τα πράγματα δεν ήταν τόσο ειδυλλιακά και υπέροχα και ρομαντικά όσο τα φανταζόμουν. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι το ούζο, την εξάπτει τη φαντασία. Οπότε αφήνω τις καρδούλες στις ευχετήριες κάρτες του Άγιου Βαλεντίνου και τις πεταλουδίτσες στους όμορφους περιπάτους της Ρόδου.Παρόλα αυτά, μετά το ραντεβού μας, ήμουν πιο χαρούμενη από ποτέ. Γιατί είχε πλάκα όλο αυτό. Είχε πλάκα να κάνεις κάτι που μέχρι πρότινος έβαζες στοίχημα ότι δεν θα το κάνεις ποτέ. Γιατί δεν είναι δική σου δουλειά. Ή γιατί ντρέπεσαι. Ή γιατί «τι θα σκεφτεί, μπορεί να με περάσει για καμιά εύκολη».
Βλακείες.
Η γιαγιά μου λέει ότι «αν σε θέλει κάποιος, θα γυρίσει τον κόσμο ανάποδα για να σε πάρουν» (σ.σ.: εκείνη αναφέρεται στο γάμο, εμείς ας το αφήσουμε στο πιο φλου). Δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί αυτός ο «κάποιος» πρέπει να είναι γένος αρσενικού. Και λυπάμαι που τόσον καιρό πίστευα ότι πρέπει σώνει και ντε να είναι.
Όλοι έχουμε δικαίωμα στην ευκαιρία. Και μιας και πιάσαμε τις σοφίες γιαγιάδων να σου πω και κάτι άλλο; «Αν δεν βρέξεις τα πόδια σου, δεν πρόκειται να κολυμπήσεις» έτσι δεν λένε; Ε, εγώ ήθελα να κολυμπήσω. Τι και αν εν προκειμένω, μου βγήκε ρηχή η θάλασσα. Εάν δεν το είχα τολμήσει, τώρα δεν θα ήμουν στην ευχάριστη θέση να κλείσω αυτό το κείμενο με το παρακάτω απόφθεγμα.
Ότι δηλαδή, το φλερτ είναι γένους ουδέτερου. Ούτε αρσενικού ούτε θηλυκού. Και αυτό, μόνο ως τυχαίο δεν μπορεί να θεωρηθεί.
